Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys finally ended Randy Gregory's free fall.

The Cowboys selected the controversial pass rusher with the 60th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft on Friday night.

Gregory, considered by many to be a top-10 prospect a few months ago, slipped until late in the second round due to off-the-field concerns.

The Nebraska product tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Scouting Combine and was late to several pre-draft interviews.

The second round began with a trade, with the New York Giants moving up from the 40th pick to 33 and selected Alabama safety Landon Collins. The Tennessee Titans, meanwhile, received New York's second, fourth and seventh round picks.

Quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota were the first two selections of the draft on Thursday, but another signal-caller wasn't taken until the New Orleans Saints picked Colorado State's Garrett Grayson in the third round with the 78th selection.

Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion was selected 89th by the St. Louis Rams, going before UCLA's Brett Hundley and Baylor's Bryce Petty, who have yet to be drafted.

Six running backs and seven wide receivers were taken in the second and third rounds.

Alabama's T.J. Yeldon was the first back taken in the second round, landing 36th to the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Ohio State's Devin Smith was the first receiver to go in round 2, going to the New York Jets a pick later.

The Tennessee Titans, meanwhile, provided Mariota a weapon on the outside when they added Oklahoma's Dorial Green-Beckham at pick No. 40.

Arizona State receiver Jaelen Strong was the last player selected who was invited to the green room. The Houston Texans moved up from No. 82 to 70 to snag him. They sent fifth and seventh round picks to the Jets in the trade.

The Detroit Lions found their replacement for Reggie Bush, picking up Nebraska's Ameer Abdullah at No. 54.

Minnesota's Maxx Williams was the first tight end taken in the draft. The Baltimore Ravens moved up from pick No. 58 to 55 to grab him, adding a fifth- round selection in a swap with the Arizona Cardinals.
