Commerce City, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Nick LaBrocca netted a second-half equalizer for the Colorado Rapids on Friday as the club earned a point in a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

The Rapids, who still remain winless at home, earned their fourth draw of the season, while FC Dallas are unbeaten in their last two matches.

The visitors carved out the first quality chance when Blas Perez got in behind the Colorado defense in the fifth minute, but his attempt on goal in close was stopped by Rapids goalkeeper Clint Irwin.

FC Dallas opened the scoring in the 31st minute Fabian Castillo pushed a pass through four players to Mauro Diaz, who slammed it home to give the Hoops a 1-0 lead.

Colorado answered with a chance in first-half stoppage time when Dillon Powers ripped a low shot but FC Dallas goalkeeper Dan Kennedy came up with a tremendous save to keep FC Dallas ahead at 1-0 going into the half.

Juan Ramirez had a chance for the hosts from just outside the box early in the second half, but it sailed just over the cross bar. In the 59th minute Blas Perez was sent off in the 59th minute after seeing a straight red card from referee Allen Chapman following an altercation with an opponent, reducing the visitors to 10 men.

The Rapids tied the game 1-1 when Powers sent a long pass across the box to Lucas Pittinari, who headed it back to an open Nick LaBrocca, who slammed it home.

Colorado increased the pressure in the final five minutes, spending the final minutes almost exclusively in the FC Dallas half, but they couldn't find a late winner and were forced to settle for a point.
