Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Duquesne's football program will play five of its 11 games at home while it tries to win the Northeast Conference championship this year.

The Dukes, coming off a 6-6 season under coach Jerry Schmitt, will play three conference games at home against Central Connecticut State (Oct. 3), Wagner (Oct. 31) and Saint Francis (Nov. 21).

In addition, the Dukes will host a pair of sub-Division I opponents, Kentucky Christian in their season opener on Sept. 5 and Alderson-Broaddus on Oct. 10.

Duquesne has shared two of the last four NEC titles, but has yet to claim the conference's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs since it was first awarded in 2010.
