Mazatlan, Mexico (SportsNetwork.com) - Tommy Cocha closed with a 3-under 69 on Sunday and he hung on to win the Mazatlan Open.

Cocha finished his second PGA Tour Latinoamerica victory at 17-under-par 271.

The Argentine opened with four pars in a row at Estrella del Mar Golf & Beach Resort. Cocha converted back-to-back birdies at six and seven to move to minus-16.

Cocha followed six consecutive pars by a birdie at the 14th. He tripped to a bogey at 17, but atoned for that mistake with a birdie at the last.

Oscar David Alvarez (68) and Andres Echavarria (69) shared second place at minus-15. Kent Bulle fired a 5-under 67 to jump into fourth place at 14-under- par 274.

Evan Harmeling (67), Julio Zapata (68), Joel Lynn (70) and Wilson Bateman (70) tied for fifth at minus-13.
