Turin, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Felipe Anderson netted two goals in a span of seven second-half minutes on Monday as Lazio claimed a 2-0 win over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico.

Coming off a comfortable 4-0 thrashing of Fiorentina in league play last time out, Lazio was hoping to extend their unbeaten run in Serie A to seven matches and Anderson got the club off to a good start with the opening salvo in the 71st minute.

Anderson then doubled his side's advantage with 12 minutes to play and Torino managed to put four attempts on target, but could never bulge the back of the net as the home side suffered its ninth defeat of the season.

The win for Lazio moves the club to 49 points from 27 matches for third place in Serie A, while Torino remains in ninth place on 36 points.

Also in Italy's top flight on Monday, Joaquin and Gonzalo Rodriguez scored six minutes apart as Fiorentina rallied for a 2-1 win over AC Milan at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

In Monday's final fixture, Roma's winless run across all competitions reached four matches as Sampdoria earned a 2-0 win on the strength of goals from Lorenzo De Silvestri and Luis Muriel.
