Bears, LB McPhee agree to 5-year deal

Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears agreed to terms with Pernell McPhee on a five-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

McPhee, 26, spent the previous four seasons primarily as a reserve linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.

A fifth-round pick in 2011 out of Mississippi State, McPhee registered a career-high 7 1/2 sacks in 16 games last season. He has 17 sacks in 60 career games.
