Kraljevo, Serbia (SportsNetwork.com) - Serbia won a pair of dead rubbers on Sunday to complete a 5-0 sweep of visiting Croatia in an opening-round Davis Cup affair in Kraljevo.

Filip Krajinovic handled Franco Skugor 6-4, 6-2 and Viktor Troicki doused Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3 in reverse singles play on Day 3.

On Saturday, world No. 1 great Novak Djokovic was inserted into the doubles lineup and helped the Serbs clinch a spot in July's Davis Cup quarterfinals.

Djokovic easily won his opening singles match Friday to help the hosts to a 2-0 lead over the Croats at Kraljevo Sports Centre.

Serbia will next play Argentina or Brazil in the quarters.

The Serbs won their lone Davis Cup title in 2010, beating Croatia en route to the crown, and was the runner-up in the storied team competition two years ago.
