Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (SportsNetwork.com) - Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki had little trouble in her second-round match Thursday at the Malaysian Open tennis event, rolling into the quarterfinals with a straight-set victory.

Wozniacki blasted seven aces and broke serve three times in a 6-4, 6-1 rout of China's Lin Zhu. She needed just 75 minutes to advance to Friday's quarterfinals.

Next up for the Dane will be Germany's Carina Witthoeft, a 7-6 (7-3), 6-0 winner Thursday against fifth-seeded Klara Koukalova of the Czech Republic.

Also Thursday, Taiwanese wild card Su-Wei Hsieh outlasted Japan's Misa Eguchi in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-0. Hsieh will play Russian qualifier Elizaveta Kulichkova in the quarters.

Friday's remaining quarterfinal matches will feature fourth-seeded Jarmila Gajdosova of Australia against Japan's Kurumi Nara and eighth-seeded Julia Goerges of Germany against Romania's Alexandra Dulgheru.

This week's champion will collect $43,000.
