Hawks sign Eddie

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Hawks signed guard Jarell Eddie to a 10-day contract on Thursday.

Eddie appeared in 37 games this season with the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, averaging 11.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 25.6 minutes.

Eddie, who was in training camp with the Hawks, won the D-League Three-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend.

He played four seasons at Virginia Tech, and as a senior in 2013-14, averaged 13.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 32.6 minutes.
