(SportsNetwork.com) - The Kansas City Royals and starting pitcher Yordano Ventura have reportedly reached an agreement on a five-year extension.

CBSSports.com reports that the deal is done, pending a physical. It's for $23 million guaranteed and includes two club option years.

Ventura, 23, went 14-10 with a 3.20 ERA in 30 starts and one relief appearance as a rookie with the Royals in 2014. He made four postseason starts, earning the win in Game 6 of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants.
