(SportsNetwork.com) - The NFL salary cap has increased more than $10 million to $143.28 million per team, the league and the players union said Monday.

The new number, which takes effect when the league year begins on March 10, is up from $133 million in 2014.

Teams have the option to carry over unused cap space from the previous league year.

According to the NFL Players Association, the Jacksonville Jaguars will have the highest adjusted salary cap after carrying over $21.768 million from last year.
