New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The NBA has handed Houston Rockets guard James Harden a one-game suspension for kicking fellow All-Star LeBron James in the groin during Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The incident occurred during the third quarter of Houston's 105-103 overtime win. Harden was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul for his actions, but the league upgraded it to a Flagrant 2 upon a review to bring about the suspension.

Harden, whose 27.1 points per game scoring average leads the NBA this season, will be forced to sit out when the Rockets visit Eastern Conference leader Atlanta on Tuesday.
