Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Buffalo Sabres defenseman Josh Gorges will have season-ending surgery, coach Ted Nolan announced Sunday.

Gorges has been out since Feb. 10 with a lower-body injury. He had six assists in 46 games this season.

Nolan also announced that defensemen Tyson Strachan (infection) and Nikita Zadorov (team reasons) will miss Sunday's game against the Nashville Predators.

The Sabres will also be without defenseman Mike Weber for the next two weeks, Nolan said. Weber sustained an upper-body injury in the first period of Friday night's game against the Rangers.

Buffalo recalled defensemen Jake McCabe and Mark Pysyk from Rochester of the American Hockey League (AHL).
