Canton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will kick off the 2015 NFL preseason by meeting in the Hall of Fame Game.

The game will be played in Canton, Ohio on Aug. 9, one day after the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2015 is formally enshrined.

Former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis and former Vikings center Mick Tingelhoff will be inducted that weekend.

Bettis played 10 of his 13 seasons with the Steelers and ranked fifth all-time in career rushing yards with 13,662 at the time of his retirement.

Tingelhoff never missed a game in 17 seasons with the Vikings from 1962-78.

Also selected to the 2015 Hall of Fame class are linebacker Junior Seau, wide receiver Tim Brown, outside linebacker Charles Haley, guard Will Shields and former league executives Bill Polian and Ron Wolf.
