Dortmund, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Borussia Dortmund completed a major coup on Tuesday by revealing that star midfielder Marco Reus has signed a contract extension.
Reus has been the subject of much transfer speculation in recent months with Real Madrid and Barcelona keeping tabs on the Germany international.
The new deal, though, removes his release clause and will keep Reus at Dortmund until 2019.
Dortmund sits third from bottom in the Bundesliga with just 19 points through 20 games.
