Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Dallas Mavericks guard Rajon Rondo will miss the next three games due to facial fractures he suffered in Saturday's game against Orlando.

Rondo was hurt early in the first quarter after a collision with teammate Richard Jefferson. Jefferson's knee hit the face of Rondo, whose head then struck the floor.

The Mavericks updated Rondo's status Monday, saying he has an orbital fracture to the left eye and a nasal fracture. He's already missed three games since the injury.

Since joining the Mavericks in a December trade with Boston, Rondo has averaged 9.2 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 21 games.
