Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Dallas Mavericks guard Rajon Rondo will likely miss Monday's game against Minnesota because of a head injury he suffered Saturday.

Rondo was hurt early in the first quarter in Orlando after a collision with teammate Richard Jefferson. Jefferson's knee hit the face of Rondo, whose head then struck the floor.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Rondo will be further evaluated Monday but will not play against the Timberwolves. His status for a two-game trip to California for games against Golden State and Sacramento will likely be determined on Monday.

Rondo has averaged 9.2 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 21 games since joining the Mavericks in a December trade with Boston.
