Patrick Marleau, Barclay Goodrow and James Sheppard each had a goal and an assist, and the San Jose Sharks used a big second period to beat the Anaheim Ducks 6-3 on Thursday night.

San Jose scored five times in the second and extended its home winning streak against Anaheim to seven. Joe Pavelski scored in the first, and Antti Niemi had 25 stops for his third consecutive win.

The Sharks also improved to 4-0-1 against the division-leading Ducks this season.

Andrew Cogliano, Matt Beleskey and Patrick Maroon scored for Anaheim.
