Greensboro, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Madison Chock and Evan Bates finally have a national title.

Chock and Bates clinched their first dance title at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on Saturday after winning the free dance competition.

The pair, who won Friday's short dance competition by just .11 points over Maia and Alex Shibutani, scored 111.11 points on Saturday to beat the siblings by 3.75 points.

Chock and Bates finished as runners-up the past two years to six-time national champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White, who haven't competed since becoming the first American pair to win Olympic gold in ice dancing last year in Sochi.

The Shibutanis, who were third the past two years, finished in second place on Saturday after earning 107.47 points in the free dance.

Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue began the day in third place and ended there.
