Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears hired Josh Lucas to be the team's director of player personnel, the team announced on Sunday.

Lucas comes to the team from New Orleans, where he spent the past 10 seasons in the personnel department, with the last eight as a scout between the southern and southwest region.

He is the second person from the New Orleans organization who has taken a position with the Bears this offseason, joining former New Orleans director of player personnel Ryan Pace, who the Bears named general manager on Jan. 8.
