New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Peter Laviolette of the Nashville Predators and Darryl Sutter of the Los Angeles Kings were named the head coaches for the upcoming 2015 NHL All-Star Game in Columbus.

The coaching selections were determined by the team with the highest points percentage in the NHL through Jan. 10 and the team that hoisted the Stanley Cup the prior season.

Laviolette, who also coached at the 2011 All-Star game in Raleigh, has guided the Predators to a 27-9-4 record (.725) and a top spot that will stay intact through Saturday's games.

Sutter will be making his first All-Star appearance after his Stanley Cup champion Kings defeated the New York Rangers in five games last June.

The 2015 All-Star festivities will take place at Nationwide Arena on Jan. 24-25.
