He's back. Almost.

Brazilian phenom, Neymar Jr., who was last seen on the soccer pitch writhing around on the ground after having a vertebra in his back fractured courtesy of a Juan Zúñiga knee, has returned to team training with his club team, Barcelona.

The Spanish team said that Neymar completed his first full training session with the rest of the team on Wednesday, although he has not yet been cleared by team doctors to play games.

The Brazilian star collided with Zúñiga, a Colombian defender, during a World Cup quarterfinals last month, and the injury took him out of the rest of the competition. Without Neymar, Brazil lost 7-1 to Germany in the semifinals and 3-0 to the Netherlands in the third-place game.

Barcelona hosts Elche on Aug. 24 in the opening match of the La Liga season.
