Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Toronto's Melky Cabrera left Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after being hit on the right elbow by a pitch.
The injury occurred in the bottom of the first when Baltimore starter Miguel Gonzalez hit Cabrera with fastball. X-rays were negative, and Cabrera is considered day-to-day.
Cabrera was replaced by Nolan Reimold in his next at-bat in the third inning.
Cabrera is hitting .315 with 29 doubles, 14 homers and 59 RBI this season.
