A look at Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel's day at training camp.

SEEING JOHNNY: A crowd of more than 4,000 fans, many of them wearing Manziel's No. 2 jersey, swarmed to Cleveland's first day of training camp. Along with getting a glimpse of Johnny Football, fans could also purchase his top-selling jersey for $150 at a souvenir tent. A kid's Manziel jersey sells for $110.

BEING JOHNNY: Manziel began practice taking reps with Cleveland's second-team offense. He got off to a slow start, but improved as the day went on. His first completion went to wide receiver Miles Austin, and Manziel showed his scrambling ability when pressured.

COACHING JOHNNY: While Manziel made news with some of his offseason partying, Browns first-year coach Mike Pettine said the young quarterback has been a model student inside the team's facility. "From the day he walked in here, he's been extremely coachable. It's been great to meet him. He asks the right questions," Pettine said.

TALKING JOHNNY: Manziel has expressed regret for "rookie mistakes" during the offseason. He knows he has much to learn.

"The reason that I'm popular or the reason that people follow me and there's been such a buzz around me is when I went out on Saturdays at Texas A&M, I played with an extreme amount of passion and I played with my heart on my sleeve," he said. "But more than anything, I had fun. I have fun playing this game. I have fun going out on this field playing football. It's what I live for. It's what I do, same way off the field. Whether I'm playing golf, going out having a night life, whatever it is, I have a lot of fun. That's what my life is, and luckily for me I'm living out my dream of playing in the NFL."
