Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres re-signed restricted free agent forward Luke Adam to a one-year, two-way contract on Sunday.

Adam, selected by the Sabres in the second round (44th overall) of the 2008 draft, appeared in 12 games with the Sabres last year, scoring one goal.

The 24-year-old native of Newfoundland has picked up 15 goals and 11 assists in 87 career NHL games over parts of four seasons.
