Umag, Croatia (SportsNetwork.com) - Defending champion Tommy Robredo of Spain and Uruguayan qualifier Pablo Cuevas will play for the title at the Vegeta Croatia Open after both men won their semifinal matches Sunday morning.

The final will take place Sunday night. Both competitors were forced to play two matches on Sunday after torrential rain postponed action on Saturday.

The second-seeded Robredo topped No. 3 seed Marin Cilic, 7-6 (10-8), 6-3; while Cuevas defeated top-seeded and 2013 runner-up Fabio Fognini, 6-3, 6-4.

Cilic had his 15 consecutive match winning streak broken in his home country. Sunday marked his first loss in Croatia since falling to Alexandr Dolgopolov in the 2011 final. His run included titles in Umag (2012) and Zagreb (2013 and 2014).

Robredo is trying for his 13th career title, while Cuevas, currently ranked No. 60 in the world, rides a 12-match winning streak into the final. Cuevas won the title in Bastad, Sweden, two weeks ago for his first career championship.

The 2014 Croatia Open titlist will collect $105,000.
