Indiana made it official Monday, announcing the signing of shooting guard Rodney Stuckey.

The announcement comes less than a week after word leaked of the minimum-salary deal during the NBA's summer league in Las Vegas.

The Pacers are hoping Stuckey fills the void left by last week's departure of Lance Stephenson and keeps them atop the NBA's Central Division for a third straight year.

But that possibility looks increasingly more difficult given the additions of other teams in the division — and the subtraction of Stephenson from the Pacers' lineup.

Stuckey averaged 13.9 points last season with the Pistons and was relegated mostly to bench duty the past two seasons.
