Manchester, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Manchester City announced Thursday that midfielder Samir Nasri has signed a five-year extension to remain with the Premier League champions until 2019.
Nasri joined the Citizens from Arsenal in 2011 and has helped the club win two league titles in his three seasons at the Etihad.
The 27-year-old Frenchman has played 129 games for City and scored 22 goals.
