All Germany players declared fit to play in World Cup quarterfinal vs France

PORTO SEGURO, Brazil – All Germany players have been cleared fit to play in the World Cup quarterfinal against France on Friday in Rio de Janeiro.

Assistant coach Andreas Koepke says backup midfielder Christoph Kramer had a light fever on Wednesday but was also expected to be available.

Central defender Mats Hummels has recovered from flu, which forced him to miss the 2-1 extra-time victory over Algeria on Monday.

Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger had strong cramps and had to be substituted late in that game but Koepke says he has recovered.
