(SportsNetwork.com) - Marcin Gortat says he is staying in Washington.

After helping the Wizards reach the playoffs for the first time in six years, Gortat tweeted Tuesday that he was "proud to say Washington will be my home."

According to reports Tuesday night, the center has agreed to a five-year, $60 million deal with the Wizards.

Gortat, 30, was acquired by Washington in a five-player trade with the Phoenix Suns last October and he averaged 13.2 points and 9.5 rebounds in his first 81 games with the Wizards.

He went on to average 13.0 points and 9.9 rebounds in 11 playoff games as the Wizards knocked off the Bulls in the first round before falling to Indiana in the second.
