Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa made an outstanding save to keep Neymar from scoring to leave host Brazil and Mexico drawing 0-0 at halftime on Tuesday at the World Cup.

It was an even Group A game at the Arena Castelao, with neither team creating many significant scoring chances.

But Neymar came very close in the 26th minute when he beat a defender to a high cross into the area. The ball was heading just inside the post when Ochoa showed his reflexes by diving to his right to push it wide of the goal.

Mexico nearly scored with a powerful long-range shot by midfielder Hector Herrera in the 24th, but it sailed just over the crossbar.
