Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is back at practice for the start of a mandatory minicamp after missing two weeks to deal with two off-field legal problems.

Dareus stretched with his teammates before the start of practice Tuesday. It was the 2011 first-round draft pick's first time back since participating in a voluntary practice on May 30.

Hours after that practice, Dareus crashed his car into a tree while allegedly racing teammate Jerry Hughes. Dareus was charged with reckless endangerment and ticketed for several traffic violations, including drag-racing.

Earlier last month, Dareus was arrested in his native Alabama and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Dareus consulted with Bills coach Doug Marrone following the accident. The two agreed Dareus should take two weeks off.
