Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Reds activated pitcher Mat Latos from the 60-day disabled list on Saturday.

The right-hander will make his 2014 debut and take the mound Saturday in Milwaukee against Yovani Gallardo.

Latos hasn't played yet this season, as he underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus in the spring and then dealt with an elbow strain while working on his return.

Latos, 26, was 14-7 with a 3.16 ERA and 187 strikeouts over 32 starts last season for the Reds.

To make room for Latos, Cincinnati placed pitcher Sean Marshall of the 15-day DL with a strained left shoulder.

It is Marshall's second stint on the disabled list this season with a left shoulder injury that has been bothering him since spring training. The lefty has allowed 14 runs -- 12 earned -- on 23 hits in 14 innings this year.
