Mexico City, Mexico (SportsNetwork.com) - Leon completed the league double on Sunday by securing a 2-0 win at Pachuca in extra time to notch a 4-3 aggregate win that clinches the Liga MX Clausura title.

Pachuca entered the second leg of the final with a 3-2 lead, but Mauro Boselli's goal in the 65th minute for Leon sent the match into extra time, where Juan Ignacio Gonzalez turned home the decisive header in the 112th minute.

Leon becomes the first team since UNAM in 2004 to win both the Apertura and Clausura in succession, while the title is the seventh for Leon in club history.

Leon entered the Clausura playoffs as the eighth and final seed, but after knocking off both Cruz Azul and Toluca on its way to the final, the team overcame one final hurdle on Sunday after losing 3-2 to Pachuca in the first leg.

Boselli broke the scoreless deadlock with a 65th-minute header, while goalkeeper William Yarborough made a number of saves for Leon to keep the team up a goal.

And the deciding tally came eight minutes before the end of extra time when a corner kick was swung into the six-yard box, where Gonzalez got free to send a header past goalkeeper Oscar Perez, clinching the win.
