Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cleveland Indians placed outfielder Nyjer Morgan on the 15-day disabled list on Thursday and recalled infielder Jesus Aguilar from Triple-A Columbus.
Morgan is suffering from a sprained right knee he sustained in Wednesday's win against the Blue Jays.
Over 15 games with Cleveland this season, Morgan is batting .341 with one home run, six RBI and eight runs scored.
Aguilar is up in the big leagues for the first time and he has batted .298 with seven home runs and 19 RBI over 37 games with Columbus.
