Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays placed center fielder Colby Rasmus on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with tightness in his right hamstring.

Rasmus has missed Toronto's last two games due to the injury, making his move to the DL retroactive to Tuesday. The 27-year-old outfielder batted .222 with nine home runs and 19 RBI over 37 games prior to the injury.

The Blue Jays recalled outfielder Anthony Gose from Triple-A Buffalo to replace Rasmus on the roster. Gose, 23, has appeared in three games with Toronto this season, going 2-for-6 with two RBI.
