St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Cardinals have optioned infielder Kolten Wong and outfielder Shane Robinson to their Triple-A affiliate in Memphis.

The team also recalled infielder Greg Garcia and outfielder Randal Grichuk from Memphis to fill the roster spots.

Wong, who began the season as St. Louis' starting second baseman, was batting just .225 with five runs batted in through 20 games, while Robinson had only one hit in 20 at-bats.

Garcia, Memphis' primary second baseman this season, was leading the Redbirds with five home runs, three triples and 46 total bases while batting .267 in 21 games.

Grichuk, a first-round pick by the Angels in 2009 ahead of Mike Trout, was batting .310 with a team-best 17 runs batted in for the Redbirds.
