Washington, D.C. ( - Fabian Espindola scored twice at RFK Stadium on Saturday to guide D.C. United to a 4-1 demolition of 10-man FC Dallas.

The home side fell behind early on, but Zach Lloyd's first-half ejection helped Espindola net two goals and add an assist to give United its third win in its last four outings.

D.C. United (3-2-2) climbs to 11 points on the season while FC Dallas (5-2-1) drops its match in its last three contests.

The hosts managed to take advantage of the extra man, leveling the score just before the break when Espindola nodded home a fabulous cross from Eddie Johnson.

The second half belonged to United as the home side netted three goals in the span of nine minutes.

Bobby Boswell produced the go-ahead goal at the hour mark, hammering home a rebound off of a save by Chris Seitz.

Sean Franklin added to United's lead four minutes later, getting on the end of Espindola's cross to poke a shot past Seitz.

Espindola then put the finishing touches on a glittering scoreline by taking a layoff from Chris Rolfe in the 69th minute and stuffing a shot into the back of the net.
