Djokovic to become a father

Belgrade, Serbia (SportsNetwork.com) - Novak Djokovic and his fiancee, Jelena Ristic, are expecting a child, as the former world No. 1 star made the announcement via Twitter.

The six-time Grand Slam champion tweeted: "Jelena is pregnant!!!We will be parents soon!"

The sex of the baby and/or the due date have not been revealed.

The couple dated for eight years before getting engaged last September.

The 26-year-old Djokovic, who recently titled at Indian Wells and Miami, is currently taking some time off to heal a wrist injury.
