London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Chelsea will have to do without the services of goalkeeper Petr Cech for the remainder of the season after he suffered a dislocated shoulder in his team's 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho ruled out his first-choice goalkeeper for the rest of the campaign, but is hopeful that he will still have something to celebrate at the end of the season.

"Cech's season is over," Mourinho told Sky Sport Italia on Tuesday. "He won't play again this term, but I hope he can at least celebrate something with us."

The Czech Republic international was injured 16 minutes into the game when he tipped a corner kick over his own crossbar and fell awkwardly after being bumped by Atletico's Raul Garcia.

Mark Schwarzer came off the bench to finish out the game while Cech was taken to a Madrid hospital.

The 41-year-old Schwarzer has started nine games in all competitions for Chelsea this term, and he will now be charged with helping the club reach the Champions League final with the Blues hosting the return leg of their semifinal with Atletico on April 29.
