Norwich, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Liverpool will be out to maintain its position at the top of the Premier League table when it travels to Carrow Road to face Norwich City on Sunday.
The Reds have established themselves as title favorites after winning their last 10 league matches, a run that has catapulted the club to a two-point lead at the summit.
Second-place Chelsea will host Sunderland at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, and three points for the Blues would see them go top for the time being.
That is precisely why Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers refuses to let his side get carried away with title talk with four matches to play.
"We'll deal with it the same as we have from the very first game of the season," Rodgers said. "There's no added pressure than what we had then. We look to win the game at the weekend. We're still in check with reality in terms of where we're at.
"We've made great progress this season and our objective to qualify for the Champions League was always going to be a very difficult one because of the competitive nature of the league. But we're still on course for that, and if we can get a win at the weekend then that would rubber stamp that for us."
Norwich, meanwhile, will be eager to play the role of the spoiler down the stretch. The Canaries, who have slipped into a relegation battle following a run of three straight defeats, can impact the title race by taking points off of Liverpool on Sunday or Chelsea on May 4. The club also has its own fate at hand as it enters the weekend just two points clear of the drop zone.
Fulham and Cardiff City also harbor hopes of remaining in the top flight, and three points against Tottenham and Stoke City, respectively, on Saturday would go a long way toward ensuring Premier League survival.
Also on Saturday, Aston Villa hosts Southampton at Villa Park, Newcastle hopes to snap a four-game slide when it welcomes Swansea City to St. James' Park while West Ham United and Crystal Palace, separated by just three points, square off with one another at Upton Park.
In addition to Liverpool's massive clash with Norwich, Sunday's slate will pit Manchester United boss David Moyes against his former side as the Red Devils head to Goodison Park to face Everton while Arsenal heads to the KC Stadium to face Hull City in what will be a prelude to the FA Cup final next month.
Monday's lone match will see Manchester City attempt to stay in the title hunt with maximum points against West Bromwich Albion at the Etihad.
