Top-ranked UConn heads to the Final Four in Nashville as the best shot-blocking team in the history of women's basketball.

The defending-champion Huskies have blocked 313 shots so far this season, breaking the NCAA single-season record of 310 set by Baylor and Brittney Griner in 2011-12.

Center Stefanie Dolson, one of three Huskies who swap more than two blocks a game, says having a trio of players 6-foot-3 or taller helps. But it's also something they practice.

She says the Huskies tip balls so the blocks become turnovers and fast-break baskets on the other end.

UConn faces Stanford in the national semifinals on Sunday. The Huskies had nine blocked shots in a win against the Cardinal in November.
