Munich, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Hoffenheim held Bayern Munich to a 3-3 draw at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, just four days after the Bavarians clinched the Bundesliga title.

Bayern secured the title in convincing fashion by getting a 3-1 win at Hertha Berlin on Tuesday, but Pep Guardiola's men failed to mark their first home match as newly-crowned champions with a victory as they split the points with a Hoffenheim side that sees its two-game winning run come to an end.

Anthony Modeste has given visiting Hoffenheim the lead after just 23 minutes, but Bayern built a comfortable lead by responding with three goals in the span of nine minutes.

Claudio Pizarro equalized for the Bavarians in the 31st minute before Xherdan Shaqiri handed the home side the lead three minutes later. Pizarro added another in the 40th minute to pad Bayern's lead, but Hoffenheim managed to get back to within one before the close of the opening period as Sejad Salihovic broke through in the 44th minute.

The two sides were level until the 75th minute when Roberto Firmino leveled the score for Hoffenheim, and Bayern was made to settle for a point after it failed to produce a winning goal in the final 15 minutes of play.

Bayern, still unbeaten in Bundesliga play this term, drops points for just the third time this season. The champions improve to 78 points through 28 matches.

Hoffenheim, meanwhile, is unbeaten in its last three and climbs to ninth place with 36 points.

Schalke's win on Friday had seen the club go two points clear of Dortmund, but Reus scored in the 30th, 68th and 82nd minutes of Saturday's affair to restore the club's position as runners-up.

Wolfsburg came from behind to get a second successive Bundesliga win on Saturday as Ivica Olic and Naldo scored in a 2-1 defeat of Eintracht Frankfurt, and Mainz ended a two-game slide by getting a 3-0 victory over Augsburg.
