Newcastle, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul could miss up to three matches with a knee injury, manager Alan Pardew revealed Thursday.

The Netherlands international sustained the injury in Newcastle's 3-0 home loss to Everton on Tuesday, and his manager has confirmed that the 'keeper will miss Saturday's match at Southampton.

"Tim won't play," Pardew said. "He's out for these next two or three games for sure, so Rob Elliot will come in."

Krul may also miss Newcastle's subsequent games against Manchester United and Stoke City.
