LSU coach Nikki Caldwell says Raigyne Moncreif's knee injury is season-ending.

The coach also says LSU will be "very cautious" in handling Jeanne Kenney's playing status after the senior guard was diagnosed with a concussion during the Lady Tigers' second-round victory over West Virginia in the NCAA tournament.

Moncrief's left knee buckled during LSU's first-round victory over Georgia Tech on Sunday. Caldwell confirmed after the freshman guard sat out the second-round game that she would not play again in the tournament.

Moncrief started 27 games, averaging 10.1 points.

Kenney, who averages 11.6 points, also missed time because of a concussion during last season's NCAA tournament. Caldwell says Kenney's concussion history is part of the reason her status is uncertain for next weekend's third-round game against Louisville.
