Ninth-ranked Richard Gasquet and 11th-ranked Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will lead France in the Davis Cup home quarterfinal against depleted Germany next week.

France's two top players head the four-man lineup announced by the French Tennis Federation on Tuesday for the April 4-6 tie on indoor hard-court in Nancy.

Captain Arnaud Clement also named doubles specialist Julien Benneteau and Gael Monfils, but chose not to name a replacement, saying Gilles Simon was out of form.

Germany will be a firm outsider and lines up without Tommy Haas and Philipp Kohlschreiber.

The winner plays Czech Republic or Japan in the semifinals.
