Kip Webber of Army, Stanford's Chris Turner, and Penn State star Adrian Evans are among the finalists for the Nissen-Emery Award, the highest honor in college gymnastics.

Also among the nine athletes in the running for the award are California's Donothan Bailey, Minnesota's Zack Chase, Oklahoma's Presten Ellsworth, William & Mary's Landon Funiciello, Michigan's Sam Mikulak, and Ohio State's Michael Newburger.

The winner will be announced April 9 at Michigan during the College Gymnastics Association banquet in Ann Arbor, site of this year's NCAA championships.

The award, considered the Heisman Trophy of gymnastics, has been presented annually since 1966 to an outstanding senior based on his achievement, sportsmanship and academic excellence.
