Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins and pending unrestricted free agent cornerback DeAngelo Hall agreed Wednesday to terms on a new contract.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, according to NFL.com on Tuesday, Hall will receive an average of nearly $5 million per season over the life of the four-year deal.

Hall posted 78 tackles and four interceptions -- two of which were returned for touchdowns -- over 16 games last season for Washington, his fifth full campaign with the franchise.

A Virginia Tech product heading into his 11th pro season, Hall has recorded 717 tackles, 43 interceptions (five for TDs) and two sacks in 149 appearances for the Falcons, Raiders and Redskins. The 30-year-old has been named to the Pro Bowl three times (2005, 2006, 2010) over the course of his career.
