Ryan Harrow had 17 points and reached 1,000 career points Monday night as Georgia State bounced back from its only conference loss to beat Texas State 68-41.

Georgia State responded from its 85-81 loss to Troy on Saturday with a season-low for scoring defense, 13 points lower than its previous best at 54.

After a slow start for both teams — the Panthers led 6-5 after 10 minutes — Georgia State finished the half with a 10-0 run to take a 28-14 lead.

The Panthers extended to their largest lead at 64-26 before the Bobcats finished on a 15-4 run.

R.J. Hunter had 12 points and Curtis Washington scored 10 for the Panthers.

Kavin Gilder-Tilbury and Victor Bermudez led Texas State (7-18, 3-9) with seven points apiece.
