The WNBA and the players union agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement Saturday.

The new deal increases the maximum roster size one spot to 12. The league and union negotiators will complete the drafting of the full agreement over the next couple of weeks.

The WNBA season starts May 16 with training camps set to open a few weeks before. The previous deal had expired Sept. 30, before the WNBA Finals had ended.
